Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus on November 23, 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee and raised in Thompson's Station, Tennessee to Tish Cyrus & Billy Ray Cyrus. The youngest of five siblings. They include two younger brothers and sisters. Their parents gave their daughter the name Miley with the hopes that she would achieve success. Miley became her childhood name Smiley because of its cheerfulness. Ron Cyrus is her Democratic politician grandpa. Cyrus started her schooling through Heritage Elementary School located in Tennessee. After she reached the age of eighteen, Cyrus and her family relocated from Tennessee to Toronto in Canada in Canada. There, Billy Ray, Cyrus's father, starred as Doc (2001) in TV. Cyrus started to think about acting in this time. Her first performance was with her father in Doc (2001). In addition, Cyrus played a role in Tim Burton's Big Fish (2003). Cyrus played on Hannah Montana (2006) (a Disney show that follows a teenager woman with a dual life as a singer) as the lead character. The actress was joined by her father for the second time. Following the success of the show, the show was followed by hit albums, sold-out tour dates and sales for merchandise. Cyrus became famous as an teen. Cyrus started to play various roles in the wake of her popularity in the film Hannah Montana (2006). This included roles as Ronnie Miller (in The Last Song, 2010) and Lola (in LOL (2012)) along with Demi Moor.
