Erica Cerra (born October 31 1979) is an Canadian actress who is best recognized for her role as deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy series Eureka. Cerra was born in British Columbia of Italian origin who was born in Vancouver. At the age of eight, she became enamored with acting, and was featured in numerous commercials on television. After a period of time her career took a break from the stage. At the age of 21, she returned to acting. 22 years old, she came back. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine recognized her in 2005, as one of Vancouver's 5 hottest up-andcoming actresses. Cerra appeared as in the role of deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television show Eureka that aired from 2006 to 2012. She also starred in the video of The Michael Buble song Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra's credits include starring roles in a variety of critically and wildly acclaimed television shows, including Battlestar Galactica. Film credits include Blade:Trinity which starred Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck, and Man About Town. The face and body of Cerra were used to model Ashley Williams, a character from the Mass Effect video game franchise. The other guest appearances on the show include Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and Dead Like Me. Other credits include she's appeared in the Canadian crime drama Cold Squad and Special Unit 2 as well the supernatural thriller The Collector. Cerra married Raffaele Fiore in November 2010.
Khondabi noted that she had got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her love from high school, who works as a mechanical engineer working in the energy sector. Khondabi stated that she along with Joey had the most wonderful friendship in Greenwood Christian School for years prior to dating during their senior year of high school. Howard was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo However, Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. They then started dating. Khondabi graduated from Emerald High School, graduating in 2007. She also attended her home at the University of South Carolina where she graduated with a degree in broadcast journalism. She has a minor in Entertainment and Sports Management. Joey, too, is an USC graduate. Liam their canine is their dog. Khondabi told us she believes that Joey as well as her are foodies. Her favorite food from back home is onion rings that are served by Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi said, "I'm a very curious person." When I was a student in elementary school I was a journalist for educational interviews which were broadcasted in the news program of our school and I also was responsible for reading out daily school headlines. Oakland Elementary had a news program known as WOAK. Khondabi told us that, after she graduated from university in Augusta Georgia, WAGT was her first TV news job. Khondabi stated that she worked in the news for about six years. I was a morning show host in Charleston, West Virginia for WOWK. After that, I moved to Columbus Ohio which is where I was the morning and traffic news anchor at the local affiliate of ABC/FOX.
